Psychiatry and Mental Health

At Oasis Counseling, we offer both psychotherapy and medication management for patients with a wide variety of issues.
New Patients
All new patients to our clinic will require an initial 60-minute evaluation. During the first consultation, your Psychiatrist will perform a comprehensive medical and psychiatric interview with the goal of arriving at an initial working diagnosis and treatment plan. Your physician will discuss available treatment options including possible medication and/or therapy recommendations.
Follow-Up Visits
Return visits are recommended and sometimes required for patients who currently have an outside therapist, those who do not have active impairments, or those who are currently stable on their medication regimen.

Adult Psychiatry
We offer expert consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a wide variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, and many others. We also provide outcome-based measurement care to support patient centered best practice treatment. We have the resources of an academic health center to handle complex conditions that require ongoing psychotherapy and medication management. Our clinic also offers neuropsychological and pharmacogenetics testing.

Child Psychiatry
Oasis Counseling offers mental health care to individuals of all ages. Children and adolescents often present with unique challenges specific to their age. Our Child Psychiatrists are also trained to treat adults, so as your child grows, so does the relationship with their Psychiatrist.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists require an additional two years of specialty fellowship training and have experience with Family Therapy. Our Child Psychiatrists can treat many childhood disorders including:
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Adolescent Addictions (Substance Use Disorders, Internet Use Disorder)
- Autism and Developmental Delays
